January.

Hello my loves,

Today I have my January favourites, they are in a slightly different format from my usual style although I have a feeling thWilat may be changing regularly; so stick with me and if you like my format please tell me.

MAKEUP.

Benefit Boi-ing concealer: This concealer is what I have been missing from my makeup routine, I always knew people loved this product however I didn't want to spend so much on it. Therefore I was thrilled when I recieved a tester size for Christmas. I am very much the shade 01 as this suits me perfectly; I also recieved 02 which I think would be perfect if I have a tan, definitely not getting rid of this until Summer so I can test out that theory. This product is so creamy and blends like an absolute dream, I find it is best for my under eye area. I find it doesn't budge all day if I have primer on and a small dusting of powder. Since my skin is quite oily this is an absolute dream product.

Guerlian face powder: This product is extremely expensive, and yes I did buy this for half price at £25.. I have never spent so much on a powder in my life, as I usually stick to Rimmel or Collection. The powder is actually slightly too dark on me so I don't tend to pack this product on. However for a light dusting it is perfect. It is also perfect for sticking in your bag wherever you go as the gold packaging is so pretty.

MUA highlighting powder: I owned this product a while ago in pink and could not stand it, for me it just did not look like a natural glow. When they bought this colour out in gold I was very reluctant to try it due to my past encounter with this product. When I finally got round to buying it I could not have been more thrilled. The colour is subtle enough that it adds a bit of radiance to my cheekbones without making it looking like I have added a load of shimmer to them. The gold colour also compliments my dark hair and pale skin better.

SCENT.

Wild Fig Yankee Candle (votive size): I remember smelling this in the shops and instantly falling in love with it. Suprisingly I love the smell of figs so when I spotted this I wanted to give it a go even if I didn't like it at first. As I am typing now I can smell the remaints of this candle being burnt. I burn it constantly which means for a votive size I am going to have to buy a new one next time I go shopping, as they do not last as long as the jars.
Lavender & Lemon Yankee Candle (votive size): I was inspired to buy this candle by Emma Blackery on her youtube channel BoxesOfFoxes (which by the way I absolutely adore.) in the video she talked about how relaxing and soothing this candle is, and how this is perfect to use when you're needing a good nights sleep. I find this works perfectly. Not that I have much problem with sleeping but I find it easier to relax when I have a lot on my mind. This will be another definite repurchase.

Gingerbread handcream Philosophy: This was given to me as a Christmas present by my friend Rebecca, and it is the most beautiful smelling handcream I have ever ever had. I am so worried that this is going to run out soon as I have been using it constantly. Which means I am rationing its use at the moment. I think this is only a Christmas scent as I cannot find it anywhere, if anyone knows where I can find this PLEASE let me know. I am slightly addicted.

MOMENT.

Danisnotonfire reaction video: Dan Howell is easily one of my favourite youtubers, so when he posted a video reacting to his first videos I knew that it was going to cheer me up out of the horrible mood I was in at the time. I swear I have never laughed so much in my life, I actually cried. I have personally watched the video too many times, and haved reblogged all the gifs on Tumblr. It was just one of those moments that really cheered me up.

Troye Sivan walking for Yves Saint Laurent: Okay yes this was found out yesterday that youtuber Troye Sivan walked for YSL at Paris fashion week. This is included in one of my most favourite moments of the month because I simply cannot explain how proud I am of the boy who used to talk about green screen paint.. and how far he has come.

Passing 5 of my maths exams: As some of you may know I am retaking my gcses this year. Therefore every so often we will have a test to see that we are meeting the criterea, out of 7 I have passed all of the 5 I have taken as I still have 2 left. I could not be more proud of myself as I knew I had the information in my head, I just could not cope with exams. Maybe things are starting to get easier for me.

BLOGGERYOUTUBER.

Dan and Phil (youtubers) : I've put these two together simply because they are equally as important to me. This month I have managed to watch every single video of both of theirs, and often fall asleep to the sound of their voices. Their friendship is something to envy as their best videos are always when they are together.

Superfruit (youtubers) : Scott and Mitch were new to me around December, I don't know how I have coped without their wonderful imput in my life for so long. Another friendship that is envied. They come from an amazing acapella group called the Pentatonix; I suggest you check them out because they really are amazing.

A yellow brick road (blog) : I stumbled across this blog a while back and bookmarked it, but then forgot about it. I found it again recently and fell in love with her posts, the way she writes is so easy to follow and her actual post content is brilliant. Definitely one I like to sit down and read with a hot chocolate.

How was your January? Let me know in the comments below.

Go out and change the world.
