Lush bathbomb reviews.

Hey guys :)

so in my last post i showed in my haul 3 gorgeous bath bombs i had picked up from Lush. I thought i would share with you my initial thoughts on each one.

The first one was Space Girl which was the Purple one in the shape of a planet with red glitter on top. This was the only product i had payed full price for as many of my friends claimed how much they loved it. However unfortunately i cannot join in the hype. As much as i had high hopes for this bath bomb i was dissapointed with it. It was an extremely fast fizzer which i think of as a positive as i don't like waiting ages to get into the bath but once i looked as it had finished i could hardly see any colour. Now i'm not sure if what i got was a 'dead' one which just wasn't very good but the effect was just a tinge of purple which i was initially dissapointed in as i like my bath water to be a crazy purple or pink. The scent of this was very fruity, which depending on my mood can appeal to me and other times doesn't. Unfortunately this time it didn't and i simply did not like the smell, it wasn't for me. After looking at the Lush website i saw that it had Grapefruit oils infused in it, which is probably why i wasn't as keen. However as i said, i could pick that up another day and absolutely love and rave about the smell. Having tried other bath bombs from Lush this is quite low on my list as it just didn't appeal to me in the slightest.

Next was the Father Christmas bath bomb, at first i had put the Butterball bath bomb in as it has shea butter in and this is my alltime favourite bath bomb when i would like a relaxing bath, but that day i wanted some colour as my day had been long and i was looking forward to lounging around and doing nothing for a couple of hours. So i added Father Christmas to the mix, my inital thought was that it was just going to be a bright pink bath however as it was a slow fizzer i came back to discover my bath had turned BRIGHT GREEN !! After doing some research (trusty youtube) i found that the center was infact green and after the pink had fizzed away the colour had started to spread.. i was not expecting that in the slightest and at first wasn't too excited that i had to hop into a green bath ( and to be honest something about it reminded me of Willy Wonka) but it soon grew on me quickly. I couldn't place the scent at all but it was quite a wintery christmas scent but i definetly liked it. I'd say do your research before trying a bath bomb because i now never know what to expect with Lush :) Overall i actually really enjoyed this product as i think the two bath bomb scents complimented each other well, it was certainly the most luxurious green bath i have ever had.

Lastly i used Shoot for the stars bath bomb which i have used previously. This turned my bath a beautiful dark blue colour with hints of yellow and pink which you can see on the product itself. I knew the smell as soon as i picked it up as it has the same scent as my favourite soap from Lush which is the 'Honey i washed the kids' which smells like honey and toffee. I absolutely adore sweet candy smells and so this one appealed to me straight from the beggining. I really don't think i can fault this product at all and will continue to love it for as long as they continue doing it.

Overall i absolutely love Lush bath bombs and apart from space girl i have never found one that does not appeal to me, My absolute favourites are 'Shoot for the stars', 'Butterball' & 'Phoenix rising'.
What are your favourites and are there any products you reccomend ?

Go out and change the world.
Love Charlotte x
