Primark nails review.

Hey guys!

Today I thought I'd talk about something that is a bit out of my comfort zone, which is fake nails! Since I still haven't got out of the habit of biting my nails sometimes I do resort to false ones, and usually I instantly regret them. I remember the first time I wore them was to a wedding and I thought it looked so grown up! Wheras in reality I spent the whole service picking them off & trying desperately to make the glue get off my nails. Not fun.

About three months ago, my best friend (Deanna) and I took a trip up to Alton Towers, and we both decided to buy some false nails from Primark to wear that day. Truth be told I wasn't looking forward to it very much as I knew that I would end up hating them straight away as I wouldn't be able to do simple things like put my seatbelt on. This aside, after 20 minutes of trying to put them on, Deanna finally managed it and I must say I loved how they looked with my outfit. I was wearing jeans and a mint green lace top from Primark which went perfectly with the nails I had bought, they were mint, white & black Aztec print , as soon as I saw them in the shop I knew those were the ones I was likely to choose as mint is my favourite colour and aztec my favourite print.

As for the wear I got out of them, I wouldn't say they are amazing, however for £1 I think its hardly fair that I should complain. They lasted till about half way through the day, which I thought was going rather well. However after 3 go's on Thi3teen (which is indeed no doubt our favourite ride), I found that I had lost two of my nails on my right hand. After a while it started to irritate me that they were uneven so I did take off the others whilst waiting to ride Air, which had rather a long queue.
From what I remember Deanna's lasted slightly longer than mine, but still managed to lose a nail or two.

For the price I think the quality is brilliant as I would expect them to break as soon as they came in touch with anything, however they were actually rather durable compared to my expectations. The only thing that really bothered me about these nails is the glue that came with it, I would say buy a better glue separate, maybe from your local drugstore, it will probably give the nails more staying power.

What products do you reccomend I try next ? Leave a comment in the bar below :)

Go out and change the world.
Love Charlotte x
