I thought I'd mix it up and do a recipe tutorial today! After many many hours online trying to find the perfect cookies, I have found some that not only taste delish but are a total dupe for the 'Reeses Peanut Butter Cups' (which I may or may not be addicted to.. shh don't tell).
For this recipe you will need:
- 3/4 cup natural peanut butter (If allergic to peanuts, try almond butter)
- 1/3 cup of honey or maple syrup
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of almond extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- Pre-heat the oven at 350° degrees.
- Add the peanut butter to a bowl and mix until soft.
- Next beat your egg and add that along with honey/maple syrup, baking powder, almond extract and sea salt and mix well.
- Next, carefully fold in chocolate chunks.
- Use a teaspoon to measure a small amount of dough and put onto your pre-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
This recipe is actually pretty easy to make, one tip I would give would be to let them cool down completely because you don't want them falling apart.
