3 min makeup removal.

Hello my lovelies!

Today I have a review/tutorial for you all. After trying a lot of new products I have found some that I know are going to be part of my holy grail skincare routine once I have all the products together. I am still on the look out for a good toner so if anyone knows any they would like to reccomend please leave a comment in the bar below.

I know taking your makeup off after a long day is such a drag, trust me I sympathise completely. However using makeup wipes alone can actually take longer than my solution. There are only three products that I use to take my makeup off before I moisturise & they are these three:

First I take a cotton pad and shake the eye makeup remover so the oil and product comes together. Although this product is oily it doesn't affect the skin if you have oily/combination skin as this is what I have and I find this product a delight to use. It takes off waterproof eye makeup very quickly and sufficiently  and doesn't leave your eyes stinging which I always find is a problem when removing eye makeup. Make sure not to pull on the area around your eyes as it is very delicate and you don't want to do it any damage.

Next I take my foaming cleanser and use about three pumps and spread it around my face using my hands as you would do with a hot cloth cleanser. This takes makeup off quickly but will leave your skin feeling sticky.

Which is why I reccomend using the Simple exfoliating facial wipes after. I usually buy the ones for sensitive skin however I wanted to try the exfoliating ones which I hoped would not be too harsh on my face and I was right. These wipes are very gentle but will also get off anything else that is on your face.

After this I would usually use a toner with another cotton pad but the one I had previously is no longer doing anything beneficial to my skin that I can see.. which is why I am on the hunt for another one.

 Until next time!

Go out and change the world.
Love Char xo
