February.

Hello my loves,
I realised that it was the end of February already, so decided to sit down whilst I had some time and type up my February faves!

MAKEUP.

Benefit hoola bronzer: For Christmas I was bought a palette full of Benefit blushes and the one bronzer they do. I have wanted to purchase this in full size for ages but was never sure if I was going to like once purchsed. I have no idea how to contour as I have very fat cheeks making it hard for me to figure out how to make it look naturqal without just getting a brown streak down my face. (I realise the trick is blending but I just don't have that much patience. Maybe one day) When I realised the palette had the bronzer in I was so excited to test it out. It's safe to say out of the four bronzers I own (This one being the only matte one) I am extremely impressed with it. I thought I would be as it is seen as such a universal product. I use a big fluffy Real Techniques brush to apply this and it does so lovely.

Mac faux lipstick: Again for Christmas I really wanted a Mac lipstick and I originally chose 'rubywoo' which was matte red with a blue undertone. Since braces I have found an insecurity in wearing dark or bright lip colours, mostly I stick to nudes. So when I found faux I was overjoyed. This is a pinky nude which doesn't wash me out and matches perfectly with any brace colours I choose. It is also the perfect everyday shade for any occasion. You can dress it up with a smokey eye or keep it au natural with a simple eye and lashing of mascara.

Tanya Burr chic lipgloss: This isn't the first lipgloss I have had from Tanya Burrs makeup range and it's fair to say that I really love it. Chic is the perfect shade to match with my Mac faux lipstick. It gives a tiny bit of nude colour to tone down the pinkness in the lipstick. I only wear this when my hair is up or when it's not windy because the lipgloss is sticky enough that my hair is always getting stuck in it which is really irritating.

SCENT.

JimmyChoo Blossom perfume: I've been staying with my sister for a week and she had been given a sample of this perfume. After she sprayed it I fell in love with it. It smells so fresh and girly and 'floral' isn't a scent I would usually go for however this one has enough 'sweet' undertones for me. I definitely reccomend it.

Lush the sun perfume: I had known this scent for a while now, but never actually tried it until somebody in store saw that I was mostly buying citrus scents (I went through a phase) and suggested this. A year later I picked this up in store with my first Jemima and instantly fell back in love with it. Lush' perfumes smell slightly different on everyone. For me this was very Orange and that was all I could really smell, however for Jemima it was more of a Mango scent which I was definitely jealous of seeing as I love that scent. All in all it's an amazing product that lasts absolutely ages.

Freshly cut grass: Okay this may sound really weird to some but I grew up in the middle of nowhere and didn't really appreciate the smell of it until I moved to the city and didn't smell it anymore. The other day I got off the bus and was over-powered with the scent of freshly cut grass. It was beautiful. Remember to appreciate the smaller things in life.

MOMENT.

The dress: I feel like I have to talk about this since yesterday it was such a huge deal! On my phone I have tweet alert which sends the youtubers that I am subscribed to tweets straight to my phone. Luckily I set my phone on silent because when I woke up there were over 40 tweets about this dress that I hadn't even got to seen yet. (Yes most were from Alfie Deyes bless him) When I got into class that day I got it up on the computer and I could clearly tell the dress was White and Gold however the rest of my class saw Blue and Black. I must have looked insane. I texted round and none of my friends saw white and gold so I thought it was just me. However when I took to twitter I saw that the internet had been divided. What colour did you guys see?

Arrow: The return of my fave tv show happened this month! I couldn't believe they left it on such a cliff hanger in the mid-season finale however my boys are back! I could quite happily sit down and re-watch all seasons of Arrow over and over again.. and infact I have done before.

My ears: So before the 24th of February I had no piercings.. whatsoever. I had had my earlobes done two years before but they had closed up due to me having taken them out too soon. So the other day I decided to get them pierced in my local town. It does hurt but I am a complete woos when it comes to these sorts of things. Shoutout to my friend Emily who held my hand in the process whilst a super cute guys pierced them! Such a cringe moment. She also decided to go back after a while and get hers done, she reacted a lot smoother however.

SONG.

Jealous ~ Nick Jonas.
Belle ~ Beauty and the beast.
Sugar ~ Maroon5.

BLOGGER/ YOUTUBER.

Troye Sivan (youtuber): What isn't Troye doing right now? Between working on his album and being a model this boy has managed to steal my heart. I have loved Troye for a few years now but whenever I am bored and stumble across youtube his name is the first I always type in. I love his type of videos and how they can range from Artsy to completely ridiculously adorable. (This was a scientific chart btw).

Tanya Burr (youtuber): The other day I decided to watch the whole of her vlogmas all over again and I do really love her! I bought her book the other day and have nearly finished it, I enjoy her personality so much and it really does shine through in her products and videos.

Emma Blackery (youtube): Emma Blackery is one of the most funny people I am subscribed to. I love her videos so much and when she decided to add a lifestyle channel I may have let a few tears of excitement slip from my eyes. I adore her channel Boxes Of Foxes which is more targeted towards teen girls like myself. I always love her advice and her opinions, and genuinely enjoy sitting down with a hot chocolate and re-watching all of her videos. A must have subscription in my opinion.

Go out and change the world.
