Charlotte Joy Turner.

Hello my loves,

I realise that now I have been blogging for just over a year now and there might be some people that read my blog that don't actually know me in person. It feels weird saying that & maybe I'm wrong but that is always a posibility. Let me introduce myself.

Hello :)

This picture was taken about a month ago so it is fairly recent. I'm wearing my favourite top which is a slightly cropped (see through but didn't realise until somebody pointed it out) long sleeved top from Primark. I realise typing this that I have about 5 'safe outfits' that I tend to wear over and over again. Remind me to go shopping for some new clothes when I have the money. The best angle for selfie taking in my room is at the side of my bed nearest the window since the sun hits behind my face or shines directly on it dependent on which way I am facing. The lighting in my room always makes me look more orange than I am so natural lighting on a good day for the win!

I am 5"3 and will continue to complain about it forever. All my family tell me that I will not grow any taller however I keep hope that maybe some freak thing will happen and I'll grow an extra 2 inches. Thats all I am asking for. This also means that I wear shoes with a heel CONSTANTLY (and yes my feet hate me for it) but on the plus side at the end of the day the feeling of taking off my shoes and walking around barefoot is always welcome to me, and although it sounds strange there is truly no better feeling than this.

I love youtube. The whole concept of watching a 10 minute video of somebody eating american candy is so appealing to me. This also links in with the unhealthy amount of money I spend on youtube merch (as shown in the picture to the left) and an unhealthy amount of time wishing I had more money to buy youtuber merch (do you see the predicament I am in?) I could go on about how proud I am of Team Internet but I think I will leave that for another blogpost. Youtubers just make me smile so much and genuinely make my day that bit better.

I have an obsession with dark lipstick. My first dark lipstick was 'Dark Side by MAC' which was a lovely red-plum colour. However when I got braces I lost a lot of confidence and didn't wear anything on my lips for a long time. However recently I have gotten into wearing lipstick again. It started off when I asked for 'Faux by Mac' for Christmas which is a lovely pink-nude shade. After a month of wearing that everyday I started looking for darker shades to get my confidence back. I looked around and found 'Kooky by MUA' (which is the shade I am currently wearing to the left) It is a lovely matte lip laquer that only cost me £3! I want to purchase all the colours in this range as I have gotten so many compliments on this lipstick.

My church means everything to me. This is one of those pictures that I can close my eyes and remember the day so clearly. The girls (Left to Right: Abigail, Emily & Jemima) and I had gotten baptised that day and it was truly such an amazing experience and one I will treasure for the rest of my life. These girls mean the world to me and as I watched them get baptised I genuinely cried tears of happiness as I watched them take a massive step towards Christ in their life. I could not be more proud of them.

The run up to Christmas is one of my favourite things. The cosy sweaters and excuses to have excess amounts of Hot Chocolate is amazing. There is just something so happy and joyous about this time of the year where everything starts to get chilly and there is nothing but Christmas movies being played (Favourite being The Grinch) This is a lovely picture of me one Christmas rocking the fringe and slightly crinkle cut hair (cringes internally).

I couldn't have not mentioned my favourite youtubers right? I go through phases where I watch certain youtubers over and over again excessively. However they usually only last a month and then I obsess over somebody different. It's been 7 months of loving Dan Howell and Phil Lester however and I don't think that this obsession is going anywhere any time soon. My friends worry for my health when I start fangirling and cannot cope with the 'pheels' (see what I did there). I cannot wait to get more Dan and Phil merch but for now. The cat whiskers will have to come from within.

I am a Lush ADDICT. Sometimes I love the fact that I have a bath and not a shower because bath bombs and bubble bars are just too pretty! I would love to work in Lush and come home everyday smelling like their products (that is the dream) This lovely one is 'Granny takes a dip' which I would not have usually picked up as the scent is different from the usual sweet scent I go for. However this looked amazing in the bath! The scent is Ginger, Black pepper & Lemon Oil. Although I did not pick up so much on the Citrus scent (which I usually notice straight away and adore) this was a lovely relaxing bath.

College has allowed me to make some fantastic friends. Here is my best friend Jade who I loved straight from the start. She has helped me through so much and I adore her completely. Our photography lessons usually consist of me sneaking a chicken mayo baguette whilst she takes pictures of us on snapchat (and me taking her chocolate... naturally). I feel like I don't say thankyou to my friends enough for always making me smile and being there for me. So thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

So this is me in a nutshell! The most important things I feel I had to share with you guys, just the little things that make me who I am. Leave a comment in the bar below if you have any questions or any blogposts you would like to see in the future.

As always,

Go out and change the world.
Love Char xo
